Downstate Delaware Striders and Riders
Laura Gondeck Memorial Scholarship
This is a non renewable $1,000 scholarship open to a senior attending a Kent County Delaware High School.
Application needs to be received by April 30th of each calendar year.
Eligibility requirements:
- Attending a Kent County Delaware High School
- A member of the high school cross country or track team for at least two years
- GPA of at least 2.75
- Accepted by a two year or four year college
- Application should include verification of the above, as well as:
- A copy of Resume
- Essay of 200-500 words describing how participation in athletics has enhanced his/her educational experience and how he/she hopes to continue with fitness in some way.
- Letter of recommendation from the cross country or track coach
